Another opportunity to work with friend and fellow cinematographer Lee Thomas alongside a great team with Chris Thomas at the helm. I had the pleasure of coming in to do the drone work for what is a stunning, moving and brilliantly funny short film. The story follows teenager Antonia who tries to live up to her brother’s past successes by training in secret for the town’s dangerous tradition, the Gloucestershire Cheese Roll. The response it has had speaks for itself, and it was an absolute pleasure to see it on the big screen!
Shot on location in Brockworth, Gloucestershire back in May 2018 on the Arri Alexa & Amira with Cooke Mini S4i lenses, the DJI Inspire 2 footage matches beautifully! It’s great to see The I2 still keeping up perfectly with industry standard production cameras.
Take 20 minutes and enjoy the film below!
