I’m Ben Hoy-Slot, a London-based lighting cameraman and drone operator, and I started Hydra Films back in 2015. It is the platform from which I produce high-end creative, documentary, branded and drone/aerial content.

Stories are what breathe meaning and intrigue into any subject and are what harness attention. Story is at the heart of how we approach the films we produce, and telling those stories in a meaningful and effective way is our speciality.

Operating through a team of highly skilled professional freelancers, from editors and sound recordists to cinematographers all masters in their own respective fields, we have worked on projects all over the world. The objective always remains solid; to allow the personality of the brands and people we work with to take centre stage, connecting strongly with their intended audiences.
